Ingredients

  1. 12 oz Sova Fine nests
  2. 3/4 c sugar
  3. 3/4c oil
  4. 3/4c sugar
  5. 2 t salt,
  6. 1 t black pepper.
  7. 4 eggs

Directions

  • brown the sugar into the oil on a medium flame. mix with a wooden spoon (metal spoon makes clumpy).
  • Add 5 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  • Add lokshen, another 3/4c sugar, 2 t salt, 1 t black pepper.
  • Let cook until all the water is absorbed.
  • Cool covered.
  • Once cool, add 4 eggs. Mix well. Pour into a 5 lb deep pan. Bake covered at 160 C / 350 F for 1 hour.
